Should I use my Netgear extender wireless or hardwired?

Netgear wireless range extenders are used to increase the wifi range of our existing wifi router. If, we have an old router or living in a house with a complex shape, all we need is a Netgear wireless range extender. By installing the Netgear wireless range extender at our home, we would get a strong and consistent wifi signal everywhere inside our home. Whether we are in our backyard or in garage, we are always going to get a proper wifi signal reception with the help of Netgear wireless range extender. But, the Netgear wireless range extender could be used wireless as well with hardwired connection.

Most of the times the Netgear wireless range extender is used wireless. We just have to setup the Netgear wireless range extender with our existing wifi router. After that, we just have to find the right location to place the Netgear wireless range extender so, it could receive and expands signals properly from that particular locating. Then, we just have to connect our all wifi devices to the wifi network extended by the Netgear wireless range extender. That would be our home wifi network name _EXT. So, if we want all of our devices to be used by the wifi network extended by the Netgear wireless range extender, we have to use it wireless.

Netgear extender can be used with a hardwired connection

The Netgear wireless range extender could also be used with a hardwired connection. We just have to connect the Netgear wireless range extender to that particular device in which we want to have the internet access with the help of an ethernet cable. That means, we have to plug the one end of the ethernet cable at the back of Netgear wireless range extender and the other should be at the back of that particular device. Once, it would be connected like that, we will start having the internet access.

Wireless or hardwire! Which one should I use?

We should use the Netgear wireless range extender wireless or hardwired, it all depends on our needs. If, we want all our wifi devices to be connected with Netgear wireless range extender, we should use it wireless. On the other hand, if we have only two to three devices which have problems regarding internet connection then, we should connect all those devices to the Netgear wireless range extender with the help of an ethernet cable.
